A Specialised Experience for Your Wedding Cake

Booking your wedding cake with us is a personal and tailored experience. Every couple is invited to attend a complimentary consultation at The Fat Fox, Greystones, where you will enjoy a private cake tasting and have the opportunity to finalise the design of your dream wedding cake with our Executive Head Baker.

This consultation is designed to be an intimate and enjoyable process, allowing you to explore the flavours, textures, and aesthetics that best suit your wedding theme. Whether you’re drawn to our signature natural style—featuring Swiss meringue buttercream, seasonal fresh flowers, fruits, macaroons, and gold leaf—or prefer the intricate artistry of a vintage piped design, we’ll guide you through every step of the process.

We pride ourselves on creating a truly bespoke experience, where your vision and our craftsmanship come together to design a wedding cake that not only tastes incredible but also serves as a stunning focal point for your special day.

Starting prices below are inclusive of seasonal fresh flowers.

Additional extras such as gold leaf, macaroons and extra flowers will come at an additional cost which can be discussed in your consultation.

To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of €150 is required. Once your date is reserved, we will contact you within 3-5 working days to arrange your consultation at The Fat Fox, Greystones.

The remaining balance for your wedding cake will be due no later than 28 days prior to your wedding date. This ensures we have the necessary time and attention to perfect every detail of your bespoke creation.

CREATIVE PREROGATIVE
Our new website has been specifically designed to streamline our ordering system, in turn, providing our customers with an easy and efficient service. We require a minimum of 30 days' notice for all wedding cake bookings.

All wedding cakes are tailored to your unique preferences, ensuring a bespoke experience that fits seamlessly into your special day. Every item that leaves our kitchen is hand made with love and precision meaning each cake is unique. The Fox and The Flour cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in the matching of colours and designs.

Consultations

Consultations are held exclusively at The Fat Fox, Greystones, where you’ll work with our team to design your bespoke cake.

We encourage you to bring any inspiration images and referencesThis may include things such as a pinterest board, your wedding invitations, colour schemes, photos of your bouquet etc.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for The Fox and the Flour Wedding Cakes

Welcome to The Fox and the Flour! These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between TTF FOOD LIMITED (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating as The Fox and the Flour, and you, the client (“you” or “your”). By placing an order with us, you agree to the following:

1. Order Confirmation and Deposits

1.1 Booking and Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit of €150 is required to confirm your booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final quotation.
  • Orders are only confirmed once the deposit has been received, and you receive written confirmation from us.

1.2 Final Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the event date. Late payments may result in cancellation of your order.

1.3 Late Payments

  • A late payment fee of €25 may apply for balances not paid on time. If payment remains outstanding, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
2. Changes to Orders

2.1 Design Changes

  • Changes to the cake design must be requested no later than 4 weeks before the event date and may be subject to additional charges.

2.2 Quantity Adjustments

  • Requests to adjust the number of servings must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the event date. Late changes may not be accommodated.
3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Client Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the event date, additional payments (beyond the deposit) will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable.

3.2 Vendor Cancellations

  • If we are unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a full refund, including your deposit.
4. Delivery and Setup

4.1 Delivery Details

  • Delivery and setup fees will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Delivery is scheduled to arrive 2–3 hours before the event start time. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or weather.

4.2 Client Responsibility at Delivery

  • If no one is available to receive the cake at the agreed delivery time, the cake will be returned to our premises, and additional delivery fees will apply.

4.3 Pickup Policy

  • If you choose to pick up your cake, we are not liable for any damage during transport after it leaves our premises.
5. Liability for Cake Toppers and Decorations Provided by Clients
  • If you provide cake toppers, decorations, or floral arrangements to be added to the cake, we are not responsible for any damage caused by these items.
  • Any decorations provided must be suitable for use with food.
6. Storage, Handling, and Consumption

6.1 Storage

  • Cakes must be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Cakes containing perishable fillings must be refrigerated and served within 24–48 hours.

6.2 Consumption

  • We are not responsible for the safety or quality of the cake if consumed more than 48 hours after delivery.
7. Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements

7.1 Allergens

  • Our cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free product.

7.2 Special Dietary Requests

  • While we strive to accommodate special dietary needs, you acknowledge that cross-contamination risks may exist. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of these risks.
8. Artistic License and Intellectual Property

8.1 Artistic Interpretation

  • Cakes are handcrafted, and variations may occur. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments for practicality or structural stability.

8.2 Intellectual Property

  • All custom designs created by The Fox and the Flour remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written consent.
9. Photography and Marketing
  • We reserve the right to photograph your cake and use the images for marketing and portfolio purposes. If you prefer not to have your cake photographed, please notify us in writing before the event.
10. Event Schedule Changes
  • Any changes to your event schedule that may affect delivery or setup must be communicated to us immediately. Failure to notify us may result in delays or additional fees.
11. Payment Methods
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and cash.
  • Returned payments or chargebacks will incur a €30 administrative fee.
12. Severability
  • If any provision in these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
13. Force Majeure
  • We are not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
14. Privacy Policy
  • Your personal information will only be used for processing your order and communicating with you. We will not share your details with third parties without your consent.
15. Governing Law
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Republic of Ireland.

By placing an order with TTF FOOD LIMITED, operating as The Fox and the Flour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Caramelised white chocolate cake filled with a white chocolate ganache and a sesame seed brittle crumb.

3. Orange & raspberry cake filled with an orange infused buttercream and a raspberry jam.

4. Gin & lime cake filled with a gin infused buttercream and a lime curd.

5. Lemon drizzle cake filled with a lemon zest buttercream and a lemon curd.

6. Decadent triple chocolate fudge cake filled with a dark chocolate ganache.

7. Carrot and coconut cake filled with a citrus infused cream cheese icing.

8. Coffee and walnut cake filled with an espresso infused buttercream.

9. Hazelnut and chocolate cake filled with a hazelnut praline buttercream.

10. Honey cake filled with a vanilla bean buttercream and crunchy honeycomb.

Cupcakes

Our cupcakes are designed with our signature The Fox & The Flour finish including fresh seasonal flowers, gold leaf and macaroons. We have a selection of wonderful flavors, including Chocolate & Praline, Sprinkle, Torched Lemon Merengue, Carrot & Coconut, S’mores, Vegan Chocolate, Vanilla Bean or Raspberry & Orange. €5.00 each.

Cookie Stacks

Our famous cookie stacks were created by our very own Julie in 2016. Since then, they have been a popular staple on our counters. So much so, they have made their way into our wedding offerings. Our cookie stacks are made up of three layers of milk chocolate chip cookies filled with our signature Swiss merengue buttercream. Choose between Irish Cream or Sprinkle. €5.50 each.

Marshmallows

Our marshmallows are handmade with love by our talented baking team. We currently offer vanilla bean or marbled raspberry marshmallows.  €1.50 each.

Macaroons

Hand made by our team of talented bakers. We offer a wide variety of flavours and colours. €3 each.
